SHARPTON STRIKES AGAIN!

Daniel Stinson      April 13th, 2007

The Rev. Al Sharpton once again has displayed himself as one of the most, if not the most, racist and damaging public figures in the political scene today. The proof is in the answers...He provides none. When asked over and over again why people in the hip-hop industry can spout racial slurs and go unpunished...he simply avoids the question and makes the ubsurd suggestion that their is a difference.

Al Sharpton, quit avoiding the question! If you want political figures to seek your endorsement rather than flee from it...be fair! You cannot apply a standard to one person, and simply dismiss it for another. Al Sharpton did nothing of the sort for the hip-hop industry..and has done nothing for the many racially charged comments of Jesse Jackson. Simply condemn everyone who makes such comments...isn't that simple?

I believe Imus was wrong for the comments he made, but he is a commentator, this is what he does. He asked forgiveness, this is good enough for me. It should be for Al Sharpton as well...but obviously standards only apply to one side. Al, come clean...you need to expect tact and respect on both sides.

RUTGERS GIRLS: GROW UP!

Daniel Stinson      April 15th, 2007

Are we adults? The Rutgers girls are complaining, and complaining, about the words of Don Imus. So, what is the story? Is it Imus' comments, the overkill from the left wing media, or is it that CBS and MSNBC sold out the man that made them so much money over the years?

The real story is simply this...every day, of everyones life, people call other people names. It starts in grade school...goes through middle school...and continues on throughout life. We will be criticized for height, weight, color, beliefs, attitude, birthright, and more...Rutgers girls.....GROW UP! Someone called you a name...I'm sure you are getting plenty of sleep.

The fact is, that these girls embodied the very word they were crying about from Imus...,"Ho". They sold their souls for media coverage, and gave into pressure from big head Al Sharpton. If they were anything but "ho's", they would have realized that all they were, were words..the same words used everyday around the world.

Grow Up.
